From harvest to you = 8 hours.

 

The first step in making this product; bright and early in the morning, with the rising sun, we harvest our plant ingredients from a family farm local to our manufacturing center in Shelton, CT. We immediatley transport the harvest in refridgerated trucks to our commercial kitchens in Hartford, CT and Worcester, MA.

 

This is when the magic happens. 

 

We open the "Mamita's Recipe Book"; a set of plant formulas passed down from the founder's Colombian mother and grandmother, Mamita, who got it from her mama, Nepomucima; a beautiful, strong, and well known of the times mid-wife in Bucaramanga, Colombia circua 1895. 

 

"Para limipiar la piel"is the page headline, which is Spanish for "To clean the skin". These formulas are consistent ratios of raw plants, oils, butters, honey, ground coffee, salts, sugars, and essential oils. Each ingredient is chosen based on their nutritional properties to provide a specific outcome in response to the skin's needs in that moment, like a prescription.

 

Handcrafted

 

Our team retrieves the plants from the trucks, cleans it, and runs it through no-heat juicers designed to slowly grind the plants, preserving the nutritional potency of the superfood plant. 

 

The raw plant juice is then blended with premium oils, butters, sugars, salts, yogurts, spices,  and our proprietary brown rice, tapioca, and spirulina natural thickener. 

 

Cryo Process - NO PRESERVATIVES NECESSARY

 

Within 30 minutes of making, the blended formula is poured into product molds and placed into blast freezers; cryogenically freezing the product within minutes. This allows us to naturally preserve the nutritional potency of the superfood ingredients and deliver a truly fresh product for your precious skin within just a few hours of harvest.
